I received an ARC of this book from Bookouture via NetGalley in exchange for my honest feedback。 This was a good one！ Thrillers are my favorite genre， so I am always impressed if the twists take me by surprise。 These definitely did - I did not guess any of them。 The characters were believable and well-developed， though I did want to slap Gideon a few times for putting up with certain things。 I kept racing to finish。 Nicole Trope is definitely now an author I will seek out。

This story took a little bit to really get into。 A man， an ex wife， a new wife and a battle over a child which turns bad。 The mother struggled with mental issues and the man was always trying to be the hero for her and his daughter。 Parts became a little predictable but the story was still good。

High 4 stars。 There was a lot going on in this story and I fell right into the plot。 It was suspenseful with a twist。 I was moved by Sarah and her struggles with mental illness。 The story worked well for me and because I could relate。 The child in the story had me on the edge of my seat。 Very entertaining and I highly recommend。 Thanks Bookouture via NetGalley。

WOW！！！！！ I could not put this book down。 Nicole never disappoints with her pulse-pounding， roller-coaster ride of a story。 The characters were well defined and the different points of view kept me guessing until the end。 This author is one of my favorites for a reason。 If you are a fan of psychological suspense then I could not recommend this book enough。
